Bacteria can live in our homes for days, weeks, or even months. Hence the importance of changing diapers regularly and, therefore, disinfecting them with cleaning products.

How often should you change books?

Most people respect hygiene and cleaning measures. However, even though it often seems like there is no dirt, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a large amount of bacteria. They are not only found on the curtains, but also on the mattresses, in the bedroom and on countless surrounding objects.

As a general rule, books should be changed at least once a week. The main reason is that bed linens have become anything but clean. Sweat sits on them, but also external dirt and body fluids.

When talking about dirt on the books, we must also mention the presence of possible fungi. In addition, night after night, the dead cells of our epidermis are stored in the tissues. Their presence attracts mites, which are anything but healthy, especially for breathing.

How to wash bed sheets

When it comes to washing books, it is worth stopping not only on the frequency, but also on how to wash them. The first thing to note in this regard is to avoid mixing curtains with clothes. So you can clean them well.

If you really want to destroy bacteria, you should pay attention to the following points:

Do not overdo it with the quantity: it is very easy to take all the clothes and do a lot of washing, however, if you really want the washing machine to wash the clothes well, you just have to put only one set. of sheets in it.

System settings: If the books are very dirty, we recommend choosing the strongest child. In all other cases, a normal child is enough.

If you leave the sheets in the washing machine too long, they may shrink, so we recommend washing them regularly. If, for economic reasons, it is difficult to rent a bed, then it is better to put sheets with light cotton clothes, but not with towels.

Let them dry: Bowls usually take a little longer to dry than other clothes.

Temperature: Although the sheets do not have severe stains, it is better to wash them in cold water, ie between 40 and 60 ° C. This is the only way to prevent mites from surviving.
